AIA CANADA DIAMOND JUBILEE MEDAL RECIPIENTS The Automotive Industries Association of Canada is one of only 26 professional and economic groups in Canada invited by the Governor General to nominate individuals for Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medals. AIA Canada received 38 Medals to be distributed to exceptional Canadians from the automotive aftermarket industry in honour of the 60th Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's accession to the Throne as Queen. Approximately 60,000 Canadians in total receiveD the medal over the course of the year. "AIA Canada is honoured to be given the opportunity to recognize professionals in our industry that make significant contributions to bettering their communities and Canada withtheir activities." said AIA Canada President, Marc Brazeau.
ABS Friction CEO Rick Jamieson was one of the proud 38 recipients. Rick received his medal during a formal presentation held November 14, 2012.
